Just a quick Halloween greeting to anyone happenning onto this site today. The image below just looks like a bunch of poorly rendered green Lego, however I swear if you stare at it long enough you will see something amazing. I'll add some more later on today if I get time as it's a technique I'm only just re-learning how to do. Have a great Halloween and don't eat any razor blades if you can avoid it :)

We are producing a series of adverts and post cards to promote 49th Floor around the manor (that's a school-yard saying and I apologise). To celebrate we are very pleased to introduce the first which concerns how we would approach working with varous super heroes as clients. Do with it what you will, wallpaper, writing paper, toilet paper, whatever.

Quark are seemingly pretty desperate to get the message out about how great their latest software edition is and how they have learned from past mistakes. Below is a transcript of a conversation I ended up having with Quark his or herself on Twitter:

@49thFloor: Just looking at a Quark 9 review. It all seems so quaint, bless 'em. #gotTooGreedyIn2001EhUnluckyQuarkYouFools
@QuarkXPress: Hi @49thfloor most reviews are very positive: 5/5 mice on MacUser http:////www.bit.ly/pxWFEU just to name one - what would you do differently?
@49thFloor: I meant no offence, I loved Quark 3+4, but Q6 was truly horrid and I left it there. Sorry, but I'm not alone - blame Adobe.
@QuarkXPress: @49thfloor none taken! you should try 9- much much better than 6! ;) Free trial for 30 days http://bit.ly/l5g8Py let us know what you think!
@49thFloor: Even if Q9 introduced a new fellatio feature and came packed in £50 notes, I'd still think twice.
@QuarkXPress: you naughty designer ;) we encourage old users to try the new version- QXP6 was 8 yrs ago: things change (Quark as a company, too)

2 sites we have been working on for a while have now gone live and I thought it would be good to put a link up to share.

We have been busily beavering away to up our exposure on Facebook and whilst it's been going well and we are grateful for the support we have had already, we need more people to hit the 'Like' button!

To boost this we are now repaying 'Likes' with 'Love' and what this means is that when you click 'Like' not only are you able to keep in touch with our banter, latest work and comments, but you also you gain access to our Latest Facebook Offers Tab which lists our latest offers, discounts and also will have exciting competitions and giveaways!

It's FREE to do and takes about a second to qualify for the deals, comps and giveaways;
