Have you ever been in a situation where an individual has either deliberately or inadvertently knocked the wind out of your sails? You have put hours of time into a project and in this period you have invested a little piece of yourself as well, just for someone to come along and nuke all your hard-earned positivity with a single statement?
Thanks to @joey_coops I now know that this has a name of its very own; 'Mood Hoover'. I've not heard it before, but I thought it was such an evocative term that I wanted to immortalise it forever via the medium of sarky poster, which is now available to you all for free by clicking on the image above.
The mood hoover represents a tact-void who exists only to swallow up 100% of the hope and joy in any given environment and store it in the misery vacuum for it's own blank amusement. It's Monday morning - I'm sure the Mood Hoovers are out in force today, stay strong out there people.
Just a really quick one this week. Take a look at this link to Google Gravity from http://mrdoob.com
I defy you not to have at least a little fun playing about with this unstable version of Google. It all still works and you can chuck the various elements around the page. I don't have enough time right now to look into how it's done and what the point is. In fact, I've not ever heard of http://mrdoob.com before - but on this evidence he/she is some kind of coding GOD. I don't want to overstate how much I love this, but it's a dreary day outside and this genuinely put a smile on my face.

I have been staring at this site over the weekend and it never seems to fail in raising a smile - so I thought I'd share it with yous guys on this dreary not-quite-winter-enough-yet-chop-chop-and-snow Monday afternoon.
It's basically a collection of images of people who have chosen not only to purchase red trousers, but also to wear and be photographed wearing red trousers. Cleverly organised into 4 sections: Toff, Hipster, Lunatic and Notable Wearers these images show the kind of people you know you'd just like to thump in the mouth if you could.
In the same league as people wearing skinny-jeans, post-modern flat-caps, scarves indoors, porkpie hats, massive glasses (that as a spectacle wearer myself I can assure you would lead to bruised arms back in '87) but seemingly infecting a greater cross-section of UK life than mere Shoreditch hipsters, these people deserve derision and thus I hope this site goes from strength to strength.
In an effort to prove my point regarding red trousers I have retouched the trouser colour on the famous image of the rat pack above. The rat pack surely were the actual embodiment of cool since the dawn of time and red trousers make them look more like rejects from Simon Cowell's soon coming X-factor clown school presented by George Lamb.
Please take a look - and cheer up, it's nearly Tuesday after all:

This post represents the first 'Cheer up, it's nearly Tuesday' of the week blog post that we will return to every 7 days. We all know that until 7:30pm on Sunday evening you were having a great time eating, drinking, sleeping, familying and whatnot. This has come to its inevitably abrupt end as you sit gazing desperately across the interweb looking for something interesting or amusing to take your mind off your work, but at least you have 49th Floor to pick you up a little. I mean a little as well, don't get your hopes up too high - this little nugget of information really won't make sour milk taste sweet or remove the remnants of that dog turd you stepped in near tripper's hill on the way to work stop smelling before your colleagues notice and assume that you don't wash. Once a week though it might, maybe, almost, a real small amount make you smile or raise an eyebrow for a fleeting moment in your day. Fingers crossed.
So, getting on with it. This here is awesome, the world record for the largest stop motion video from Nokia - unbelievably filmed with a Nokia N8 (whatever that's supposed to be).
Gulp. The world's largest stop-motion animation shot on a Nokia N8. from Nokia HD on Vimeo.
